Your new companyWe are recruiting for a well-known organisation within the housing sector, currently seeking an experienced Housing Services Manager for a permanent vacancy. You will be based in Bristol but also covering additional local areas depending on business needs. Because of this, you will need to have a full UK driving licence.

Your new roleYou will need to oversee the delivery of housing services within a regulated framework and support the creation of a successful integrated community. The ideal candidate will be an affordable housing expert with strong operational housing management experience. The ideal candidate will be an affordable housing expert with strong operational housing management experience.Key Responsibilities:* Lead tenancy interviews, property viewings, and tenancy sign-up processes.* Support the allocation and letting of affordable housing units.* Manage net rent performance and deliver high-quality services including tenancy, income management, and tenant involvement.* Oversee contractors and ensure properties are managed professionally.* Maintain communal spaces to exemplary standards.* Prepare and present reports against KPI targets.What you'll need to succeedYou will require a minimum A-Level education or equivalent. Candidates should have completed CIH Level 3 or be willing to undertake it. Previous operational housing management experience in a registered provider or local authority setting is essential. You will also require a strong knowledge of the social housing sector and housing legislation. Experience in dealing with vulnerable individuals and managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy, or estate management issues is required. Technical knowledge of residential property repair and construction would be advantageous. An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people is also vital.
