They are looking for someone who is either a Psychology Graduate or has experience working with ASD, ADHD, and SEN. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will be a valued member of a vital team and receive excellent support throughout your time at the school.
Your role as Mental Health Assistant may include:
- Supporting children's behaviour and learning in the classroom.
- Assisting children in understanding the teacher's instructions.
- Working with individual learners 1:1 or in small groups within the Learning Support department.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
