Location: Bristol
Pay: 13.99 per hour (8 week contract)

We are recruiting for a Recovery Navigator to join our team and work with one of our clients in Bristol supporting people in crisis.

As a Recovery Navigator, you'll play a crucial part in connecting individuals to a wide range of services, helping them build resilience, regain control, and improve their overall wellbeing. You'll work within a multi-disciplinary team, including GPs, mental health professionals, social care, and community organisations, to provide person-centred care that empowers those navigating the complexities of mental health and wellbeing.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, identify goals, and create individualised support plans.
  • Work closely with a range of professionals and agencies, from GPs to community groups, to ensure holistic care.
  • Provide support to individuals who often fall between primary and secondary care, offering tailored interventions.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support to people from diverse backgrounds, including survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Facilitate access to essential services, from housing to employment support, and help individuals build connections within their community.


What We're Looking For:

  • A strong commitment to recovery-oriented practice, with experience in mental health or complex needs support.
  • Ability to manage casework, create effective support plans, and handle multiple needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, individuals with long-term conditions, and those facing health inequalities.
  • A belief in the power of collaboration, community, and promoting hope for every individual you support.


Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with individuals with mental health needs or complex challenges.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies, equal opportunities, and health & safety within mental health contexts.
  • Proven ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including people with mental health challenges, domestic abuse survivors, and individuals with other social needs.
