Experience

- Demonstrable experience of participating in effective multi agency safeguarding adults procedures.

- Proven experience of assessing and managing risk.

- Experience of working with complex cases.

- Experience of managing conflict within a safeguarding context.

Knowledge, Skills and Understanding

- Excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation and policy context appropriate to this post.

- Ability to demonstrate effective working across organisational boundaries that has led to improved outcomes for Adults and Older People.

- Good knowledge and understanding of local needs and priorities of people and their families and how the organisation needs to respond.

- Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement in demanding situations requiring a high level of professional expertise.

- Ability to plan and organise your workload.

- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with individuals and groups at all levels.

- Ability to analyse, interpret and utilise data.

- Ability to analyse complex situations, obtaining agreement on recommendations and carrying out appropriate action.
