Junior Software Analyst

Salary: £28,000-£35,000

Location: Central Bristol - Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Role Overview

Join a well-established technology company in Central Bristol as an Entry-Level Software Configurator / Analyst.

This role involves supporting the configuration, analysis, and quality assurance of software tools such as Salesforce and Amazon Connect. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience with these tools is necessary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate looking to start a career in software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis: Work with the business to understand requirements and document user stories.
  • Quality Assurance: Test software, track bugs, and perform regression testing.
  • Configuration: Customise and configure Salesforce, Amazon Connect, and other 3rd party tools.
  • Support: Provide internal support for software-related issues and collaborate to resolve them.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful software delivery.
  • Utilise Excel for tracking, reporting, and managing software configurations and testing progress, including using formulas and basic data analysis techniques.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows, processes, and tools, and contribute to streamlining operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Skills & Requirements

  • Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive mindset to identify and suggest improvements to current processes and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Excel, including the ability to manage data, use formulas and create reports.
  • A desire to learn and grow in software configuration and testing.
