Sound good?What skills you’ll be needing
  • Microsoft development background (.Net, Azure, IIS, SQL Server).
  • Wide experience in Software Development project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Prince2, PMP, Agile, JIRA).
  • Experience in managing small development teams.
  • Knowledge of software development full lifecycle.
  • Experience of integrating systems.
  • Use of tools for managing Software Development projects (e.g. JIRA).
  • Experience of documenting software requirements for large projects.
  • Coding standards, best practices & reviews.
  • Knowledge of security and data protection requirements for systems that handle PII.
What you’ll be doingAs Development Manager, you’ll oversee the redevelopment and continuous improvement of their bespoke platforms, managing the full lifecycle of development projects, from conception through to deployment and maintenance. This includes defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, contracting software development partners and managing projects to ensure successful execution.You’ll maintain and manage the relationship with a third-party development team in the short-term with a view to growing an in-house team in the long-term.You’ll have the ability to work closely with stakeholders of varying technical levels to gather requirements, establish clear project goals and ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.You’ll very much be the bridge between the developers and the business units.What you’ll get in return for your talentsAlongside a competitive salary (up to £85K) there’s plenty of great benefits with this one.
