We are looking for DV UKIC cleared Testers, Software & DevOps Engineers with expertise in the government and defence sector, to join one of our clients with offices based in Bristol and Cheltenham.
This is a permanent opportunity with salary ranging from £45-75k depending on level of experience. The role will be hybrid with a minimum of 4 days on site.
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance (DV UKIC) - Candidates must have current security clearance from the UK Government's Developed Vetting scheme.
Skills:
Testers: Candidates should possess demonstrable experience working within test environments for large-scale software-based applications/systems including functional testing and non-functional testing such as performance/load/stress/compatibility/security etc.
Development: Candidates need proven skills developing complex web services/applications using programming languages such as Java/J2EE/.NET/C++/Python/Ruby/etc., along with database technologies like SQL Server/Oracle/MongoDB/Elasticsearch/Splunk/Kafka/etc.
DevOps: Experience required includes deploying infrastructure automation tools & techniques i.e Terraform/AWS CloudFormation/Puppet/Chef/Docker/Kubernetes/Helm; implementing CI / CD workflows via Jenkins/GitLabs.
