As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry!
Some of what you will be involved in:
- Linux Operating System (OS) migration, configuration and security solutions implementing
- Developing solutions targeting a large range of problems from hardware drivers to web services
- Working across multiple applications on both land and maritime projects in the systems software department
Your skillset may include:
- Experience with C or C++, Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages
- Experience configuring, securing and maintaining Linux OSs (Redhat and/or Ubuntu) including Kernel configuration and Kernel test
- Knowledge of software design differences between Real-Time OSs and Hypervisors
- Experience in the development of software for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) hardware and working with target system hardware
