Role: Flutter Developer

Salary: up to £65,000

Hybrid: 3 days on site in Bristol

We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation as a Flutter Developer. As a Flutter Developer you will be developing and maintaining the mobile app, writing testable and maintainable code as well as collaborating with designers and products owners to create market leading solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining our mobile app, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborating with designers and product owners to create market-leading solutions tailored to end user's needs.
  • Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern Flutter practices.
  • Reviewing pull requests, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical discussions.
  • Continuously refining processes, estimations, and technical documentation.
  • Debugging and optimising app performance to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Presenting progress and results to stakeholders.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of commercial Flutter development experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Dart and a solid understanding of mobile development best practices.
  • Prior experience in mobile development with other frameworks (e.g., iOS/Android native) is an advantage.
  • Experience with state management solutions such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Git and an understanding of version control workflows within a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with automated testing and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
