The skills were looking for
- Experience with back-end languages specifically Python, Django (essential).
- Commercial experience building and scaling production grade web applications with front-end languages and libraries particularly React and/or Next.js.
- Database experience covering PostgreSQL etc.
- Experience building SaaS applications.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Interest and knowledge of UI/UX and design.
- A drive to make robust systems using approaches such as Jest Cypress and Storybook.
- An interest or passion for supporting charities community organisations not-for-profits.
As part of a small team, you will be working closely with the Lead Developer and will be responsible for the full software development life cycle from conception to deployment. This role will have more of a back-end lean but you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages development frameworks and 3rd party libraries. Youll design client-side and server-side architecture develop and manage databases and applications write APIs and build features and applications with a mobile responsive design. To ensure optimal responsiveness and efficiency youll test troubleshoot debug and upgrade software and work with the wider team to make improvements.They will look to you to contribute to product strategy, owning the implementation of new features and enhancements, maintaining documentation, making sure that the platform remains stable and scalable.
