What Will You Be Doing?

  • Leading cross-functional engineering projects to design, build, and enhance scalable digital platforms
  • Designing and implementing high-availability cloud infrastructures using AWS
  • Working collaboratively in agile teams, solving complex technical challenges with open-source tools
  • Building and managing CI/CD pipelines to drive automation and streamline software delivery
  • Driving innovation through Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and microservices-based architectures
  • Playing a key role in reshaping UK public services through digital transformation

What Are We Looking For?

Technical Skills

  • Cloud expertise: Strong experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Terraform)
  • Kubernetes & Containerisation: Experience with EKS, Helm, or similar orchestration tools
  • DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and automation tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Ruby
  • Monitoring & Observability: Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar technologies
