You would be part of a small but rapidly growing team playing a key role in multinational research programs.You will be responsible for working on a range of projects to ensure that the quality of various products and services is up to standard in this strictly regulated industry.About the Role:• Work on a diverse range of missile programmes, supporting project activities within the UK Engineering Directorate. • Ensure that weapon systems are developed to the required level of quality and delivered to trusted partners around the world, during increasingly uncertain times. • Collaborate with others but also work independently as part of a functional and integrated team.About You: • An understanding and background in software development and quality assurance, within a process-based design and development environment.• Knowledge of software processes including various standards and assurance requirements.• Ability to lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues and provide input to monthly reports.• A degree in Engineering, or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies.Key Information: • Role: Process Assurance Engineer – Software • Salary: £45,000-£50,000 Plus Bonus and Benefits • Location: Bristol– Hybrid – 2-4 Days On-Site• Must Be Eligible to Obtain Security Clearance (SC) – See Below Key Skills:Process assurance, software quality assurance, SDLC, process-based design and development You will be successful in this role if you are a Product Assurance professional who understands the principles of software engineering and quality assurance in a highly regulated industry. Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
