Im currently working with a well-established Engineering Consultancy in the Bristol area who are looking for aSenior Java Developer(with ideal leadership experience) to join their growing team.
The company have been going for over 17 years and provide solutions & products to a variety of different industries across the UK and US markets, tasked with modernizing software environments and enhancing the consumer experience for many of their clients.

- Work mostly within the UK market but have an expanding presence in the US.
- Operate across a variety of industries within the Engineering space.

The Role Senior Java Developer
- Bristol area 3 times a week in the office.
- Working within a team of 4-5. Total development team of 8-10.
- Develop applications for new greenfield enterprise projects.
- Maintain and upgrade existing products whilst also developing Cloud based apps.
- Mentor, coach, support and eventually lead the team from technical standpoint.
Tech Requirements
- £60,000-£70,000.
- Essential Skills: Java, Spring, APIs, SQL, Unit Testing.
- Bonus Skills: Azure, JavaScript, CI/CD pipelines, GraphQL.
- Confident mentoring, coaching and supporting the development team.
- Good stakeholder management skills to take down requirements when needed.
