The Role:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join Agile-focused teams working on diverse, complex projects. You’ll help build bespoke software solutions and provide cutting-edge capabilities to meet the needs of government clients. Key responsibilities include:

Designing, developing, and testing software solutions.
Leveraging open-source libraries and components to create innovative solutions.
Using tools like GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines for monitoring and ensuring software quality and security.
Deploying software systems across public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud environments.
Engaging in all phases of the software lifecycle, from concept to maintenance.
Leading teams and managing client engagement, depending on experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile:We are looking for experienced Back End or Full Stack Engineers with:

Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as Java, Python, AWS, Azure, JavaScript, React, or TypeScript.
Commercial experience in software development.
Consultancy experience (preferred but not essential).

Security Clearance:Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be eligible for security clearance. This requires:

British citizenship.
Permanent residency in the UK for the past five years.
Candidates must already hold DV clearance or have the necessary security clearance in place before applying.
