The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer (ASP.Net, .Net Core, C#) you will have a direct impact on the business' key core product - a cloud-hosted platform which focuses directly on giving back to the local community. The business is heavily backed by data and insights - which you will play an integral part in. You will work on developing brand new product features, for a business who put "impact" at the heart of everything that they do. In the role, you will across the full stack, write automated tests with the QA engineers and work closely with the business' product owners in a small engineering team. As a Senior Software Engineer (ASP.Net, .Net Core, C#), your opinion and voice will be pivotal - you'll share best practices, have an attitude of continuous improvement and help drive change where needed to ensure that the vision of the business is kept and the platform is both user-friendly, maintainable and sleek. The team work in an agile way and you will assist wit the mentoring of other team members, code reviews and assist in mentoring others. You will have a real thirst for keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends and will be able to articulate technology terms to a wide range of audiences and discuss technical solutions to fulfil product needs whilst keeping in mind the teams priorities.
Technologies:
- Net, C# (currently completing a migration to .NET Core which you will be involved in)
- SQL Server knowledge is essential - knowledge of AzureSQL or MongoDB desirable
- Azure DevOps knowledge - CI/CD
- TypeScript
