Senior Software Engineer

Aerospace & Defence

We are currently searching for a number of Senior Software Engineers to join a brand-new Software Engineering team in Bristol, working for one of the worlds most recognised players in the Aerospace & Defence industry.

You will be joining their Air division and will get to work on cutting exciting programmes of work across things like Eurofighter Typhoons, Aircraft Simulators, and F35 Fighter Jets.

There is endless career development and progression pathways within this Software Engineering function looking to double in size over the next year from 300 to 600 Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implementation, and testing.
  • Developing software solutions.
  • Testing completed functionality.
  • Adhering to project processes and software development practices.
  • Report on progress and provide feedback to team members.
  • Supporting and mentoring Junior Engineers through peer reviews etc.


Background required:

  • C# and C++
  • Understanding of full software lifecycles
  • Having worked in a highly regulated environment, ideally Aircraft/Defence
  • Objected-orientated design/development
