I am recruiting for an Software Developer on behalf of a unique, growing client in the niche product manufacturing industry. They are seeking a skilled WordPress Backend Developer to manage and enhance their custom-built WordPress backend system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the existing custom-built WordPress plugin (PHP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across product lifecycle management, production, and quality control.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement system updates and new features.
- Ensure seamless integration with WooCommerce and other WordPress components.
- Document and manage the codebase for future scalability.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience with PHP and WordPress plugin development.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce and e-commerce processes.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with MySQL and debugging complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in a product-driven or manufacturing environment.
- Additional skills in JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
