Zenovo is thrilled to partner with a leading Bristol based engineering firm specialising in cutting-edge engineering solutions for the Oil and Gas sector. Our client is dedicated to enhancing operations with innovative technology, ensuring efficiency and minimal environmental impact.


We are seeking a talented C# Desktop Application Engineer like you to join their dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will be working on-site 3 days a week under the stewardship of the engineering team manager to help deliver high-performance software solutions.


Key responsibilities:


Design and develop software to communicate with tools, interfaces and communication systems.

Design and develop Tests along with the creation of unit tests.

Create detailed activity road maps from high-level specifications.

Design, Develop and implement reliable, high-performance software for new and existing products.

Work with legacy C# software, troubleshooting, and resolving bug issues.

Utilise source control systems such as Git and development tools (Visual Studios 2019-2022).

Provide comprehensive documentation for code and interfaces.


Experience:


Proficiency in C#, .NET Frameworks and WPF

Experience in designing multithreaded and multi-process applications, addressing synchronisation issues.

Familiarity with Visual Studios 2019-2022, Windows OS, RS232 communications, SQL Server on MS Azure and Azure functions.

Bonus if you have knowledge of Desktop applications and Entity Framework.
