They are on an exciting mission to bring all development in-house and are looking for talented and passionate Mid-Level Developers to join them on this journey.



About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on a genuine greenfield project, rewriting and modernizing a platform originally built in PHP. This includes transitioning to a microservices architecture while ensuring clean, high-quality code.

A small offshore team will remain to handle bug fixes and minor tasks, allowing the in-house team to focus on building robust and scalable solutions.

The position is primarily remote, with flexibility around visits to the Bristol office.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and modernize the platform using Node.js.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with a talented, collaborative team to produce efficient and maintainable code.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to the table.


Tech Stack and Experience

Required:

  • Strong experience with Node.js

Preferred:

  • Interest or experience in AWS and MongoDB

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with GitHub, Time Series Data, PHP, MySQL, or IoT
