Software Support Engineer - Automotive Technology - C++

This role offers a great opportunity for a graduate with a mechatronics, or robotics, or automotive degree OR someone with technical product experience and looking to progress into a more robust role, working with simulation software and automotive hardware.

As a Software Support Engineer, you will be supporting customers with technical support on multimillion-pound, state-of-the-art advanced automotive engineering systems. This will involve resolving technical issues on the phone, responding to tickets for product support, and providing training and coaching on how to successfully use the products.


Duties will include:

  • Provide technical support to customers via various channels regarding advanced systems, including installation, configuration, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Help to Diagnose and solve technical problems reported by customers
  • Support customers remotely by guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and providing step-by-step instructions.
  • Provide training sessions to customers on updates and new features as well as issues they may be having
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • An automotive / mechatronics / Robotics / or any computer science, electronics or engineering-related degree
  • Appreciate of Automotive systems or technology, control systems or sensors
  • Good communication skills to enable effective communication with customers
