A market leading Defence client of ours is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis to work within their Engineering business unit to provide expertise and advice to both internal and external stakeholders on all aspects of Systems Engineering & Model Based Systems Engineering.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensuring the proposed design is captured within the requirements management tools and modelling environment at an appropriate level of authority
  • Understand the Control & Instrumentation requirements for the platform and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria through the whole engineering lifecycle
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as inter-business teams, MOD & industrial partners
  • Working alongside and providing strategic direction for Systems Engineers

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Broad knowledge and experience of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and Engineering Frameworks
  • Experience developing solutions to meet complex technical requirements in a highly regulated industry/environment
  • Previous mentoring/coaching experience of early career Engineers
  • STEM Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background

Desirable:

  • Obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration (CEng)
  • Holding or capable of obtaining INCOSE accreditation (ASEP)
