- Moving plant machinery to enable fast turnaround for deliveries
- Maintaining a tidy yard (200 machines on-site)
- Dealing with customer requirements and queries
- Fill out CMR paperwork
- Heavy lifting with excavator
- Catalogue and keep track of all the used buckets, inc. use of the telehandler
- Health and safety inspections for the yard
- Stock take
- Taking insurance checkers around
- Showing customers around (When no salesmen are available)
- Reporting work needed on faulty machines and organising this work
- Photographing and visual inspection of all use equipment arriving for part-ex
- Using photoshop, uploading pictures to the cloud and website
- Managing the used section of the website, managing adverts for equipment
- Regular Facebook and LinkedIn posts
- Answer salesman queries on machines
- Prepare machines for customer inspection
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Driving License
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be confident using social media
- Must have a good level of education including English, IT and Maths
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Desirables
- Knowledge of basic site health & safety protocols
- CITB qualified
- Experience working with plant machinery
