Job title: Learning Support Assistant
Somerset Education Alliance, a 10 year old award-winning agency are looking for Learning Support Assistants to fill exciting Learning Support Assistant opportunities in the Nailsea area.
We cover day to day, short term and long-term supply, and are always on the look out for Primary teachers, secondary teachers, cover supervisors, HLTAs and teaching assistants to join our team for opportunties in Nailsea and the surrounding areas.
Part time and full time applicants are encouraged to join!

The Job Role
We are looking for passionate and driven teaching support staff to join our team for supply teaching assistant assignments in and around the Nailsea area.
To cover day to day, long-term, short-term, and permanent positions in a variety of educational settings. Flexible working hours available, accommodating full or part-time working.

Learning Support Assistant Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher
- Following safeguarding and school policies
- working 1:1 or with whole classes
- Liaising with school staff
Learning Support Assistant Essentials
- Previous experience working alongside children
- Knowledge of the curriculum
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history
- Reliability
- Excellent communication skills
