Day-to-day of the role:- Work closely with students to identify and reduce barriers to learning, enhancing their educational experience and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other college staff to provide comprehensive support tailored to individual student needs.
- Engage in continuous personal and professional development to stay informed about best practices in learning support.
- Qualification to Level 3 in general education is desirable, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Experience in support roles, such as youth work, mental health, learning disabilities, is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to personal and professional learning, especially in areas related to additional learning support services.
