Primary Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Bristol - Specialist Primary School
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children while gaining valuable experience to further your career?
A fantastic Specialist Primary School in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with a small class of SEN pupils aged 5 to 11, who may have autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, learning difficulties, communication challenges, or physical disabilities.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide both one-to-one and group support under the guidance of the class teacher. Your responsibilities will include tracking each child's progress, assisting them in achieving new milestones, and supporting behaviour management.
