A mainstream primary school in Bristol is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs, starting immediately.
The role offers a salary of £90 - £100 per day and requires experience in a similar position.
Candidates should have a minimum Level 3 qualification, ideally a degree, and experience working with children with ASD.
Strong communication skills, confidence in handling challenging behavior, and training in Makaton/PECS are desirable.

The Primary School are looking for:

Minimum Level 3 qualification but ideally a degree
Experience working with ASD in any setting
Confidence to work with challenging behaviour
Team teach training or similar
Experience working with non-verbal ASD &/or high functioning
Makaton/PECS training desirable
Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE's in Maths and English - 4 or above)
Good communication skills
