Academics are seeking a remarkable SEN teaching assistant to join our dynamic team and make a positive impact on the life of SEN children in a primary school setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Bristol, you will have the incredible opportunity to work closely with SEN children providing the necessary support and guidance to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your role will be pivotal in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one support to children with special needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet their unique needs.* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring the child's active participation.* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting a sense of belonging and self-confidence.* Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to develop individualised learning plans for the child.* Monitor and assess the children's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and parents

Requirements

* Experience working with children with special educational needs, is highly desirable.* Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and resources for supporting children with diverse learning needs.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with the class teacher, parents, and external professionals.* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for empowering every child to succeed* Either live in Bristol or within a commutable distance
