An excellent primary school in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or an experienced teaching assistant looking to gain valuable experience in Special Educational Needs. The role involves working 1:1 with a Year 1 pupil who has significant SEN and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with mental health difficulties, behavioural challenges, or learning disabilities such as Autism. Graduates with a 2:2 degree or above are encouraged to apply, and prior experience working with SEN children is desirable.
This Bristol primary school is looking for a proactive, confident, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant who can effectively manage behaviour and help create an engaging, supportive learning environment. Ideally, you will have experience in behaviour management and restraint training, such as Team Teach.
