An excellent Mainstream Primary School in Bedminster, Bristol is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
The role involves supporting a group of SEN children with conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues.
The position offers a salary range of £83.33 to £120 per day, depending on experience, and is full-time from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 4 pm, term time only.
Candidates must have experience working with SEN children and possess GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
The right candidate should be empathetic, have excellent communication skills, and be able to provide personal care and effective behavior management.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Bristol - BS3

An excellent Mainstream Primary School based in Bedminster, Bristol are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This is a challenging but rewarding SEN teaching assistant position, providing the opportunity to work with a group of SEN children with either or a combination of Autism, ADHD and social/emotional mental health issues.

£83.33 - £120 per day, depending on experience
Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm
Term time only
Bristol - BS3

About the role

Start ASAP
Providing assistance to children with complex needs and/or physical disabilities including ADHD, ASD, global delay, SEMH, physical and behavioural challenges
Using effective behaviour management strategies to monitor and diffuse difficult situations.
Personal care for pupils

The right candidate

Maths and English at GCSE grade 4/C or above
Experience working with SEN children - for example youth work, support work, mental health work or SEN in sport
Empathetic with excellent communication skills
