We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a superb secondary school in Bristol.

This is a full-time position, starting ASAP. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a daily basis, providing individual support to ensure access to learning across the curriculum. You will assist students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This role would suit both experienced teaching assistants from SEN schools or mainstream secondary schools. Experience supporting learners with various SEN needs would be advantageous.

We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who:

  • Has classroom-based experience, either in mainstream or SEN settings
  • Has experience supporting a wide variety of SEN, such as SEMH, ASD, PMLD, among others
  • Can foster a caring and nurturing environment while supporting individual growth
  • Living in the Bristol area or within a commutable distance
