Job Description - Teaching Assistant - SEN - BristolWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused support for students with additional needs. Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant - SEN - Bristol- Work closely with teachers to support students with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or physical disabilities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tailoring resources to meet the specific needs of students.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing regular updates to teachers and parents.
- Support students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and inclusion.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures the emotional and social development of all students.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events, contributing to the ongoing development of the school's SEN provision.
