Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? At Academics, we collaborate with both mainstream schools and specialist SEN schools, providing tailored support to students who need additional assistance with their learning.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide focused support for students with additional needs. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a positive impact on young learners' lives while building a career in Special Educational Needs.

• Work closely with teachers to support students with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, behavioural challenges, or physical disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), tailoring resources to meet the specific needs of students.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing regular updates to teachers and parents.
• Support students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and inclusion.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures the emotional and social development of all students.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events, contributing to the ongoing development of the school's SEN provision.
