As a special needs coordinator, you will be providing support to teachers and students, helping them reach their full potential for SEND teaching and learning. You will be working with children with a wide range of needs and abilities.

Your responsibilities for being a special educational needs coordinator will include providing support to staff, creating or sourcing resources, meeting with outside agencies, making referrals and completing/ reviewing EHCP paperwork. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with SLT and other agencies to develop the provision for SEND in the school.
