Behaviour Assistant

Fantastic pay rates between 400.00- 500.00, per week!

Monarch Education are actively recruiting, in collaboration with an academy trust in Bristol, for enthusiastic Behaviour Mentors, ideally with experience or a passion of special Educational needs, to work in a client Special Educational Needs Schools. The schools are located in the following post codes in Bristol and surrounding areas; BS3, BS4, BS5, BS8, BS9, BS10, BS11, BS13, BS15, BS16, BS35 and BS37.

About:

These exciting opportunities are both full- time and long-term. The school settings are friendly and culturally have a family orientated environment, offering support and guidance The hours vary from 8.00-15:45 (Depending on the school), Monday to Friday and term time only.

The school's are ideally looking for behaviour mentors who understand and have experience of working with special educational needs, with either children or adults. For the right candidate this position will go permanent, with the position starting ASAP/December 2024.

In these environments, you will be supporting varying students between the ages of 2-16+, with various SEND needs including autism, global delay, Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities, speech and language difficulties and Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. You'll be supporting students alongside the classroom teacher to boost attainment and aid their development, both socially and in their education. You will help in maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with your pupils.

Suitable candidates can be any of the following:

- Qualified Teaching Assistant/s

- Previous experience of speech and language therapy with either children or adults

- Previous experience as a probation officer

- Previous health care or support/social working experience

- Graduate in the following topic/s- Acting, Music, Performing Arts, Psychology

- Previous SEND Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant with experience

- 3/6 Months Experience of working with children

- Sports Coach background

- Available to start full-time, ASAP/ December 2024!

* Have a right to work in the UK
* Provide one recent child based reference (if possible) and relevant DBS/Police checks (we can support with your DBS application).
