We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that are looking for a teacher to join the team in leading a Year 4 class of SEMH students. The school is fantastic, they look after a range of different special needs but are primarily focused on Social, Emotional & Mental health needs.

The school are well established and are a very tight knit team of staff who boast a strong retention rate.

The role

This Year 4 class is a challenging but also incredibly rewarding class where you will be ably supported by 2 permanent TA's (class of 8), who have been with the class for a while.

The school requires someone who is comfortable planning & marking, confident in managing challenging behaviour and someone is wants to be working with vulnerable students. In terms of experience they are open to a range of different applications but QTS is preferred and special school experience is a plus!
