The successful Reading Support Assistant will be able to build a positive relationship with the students and provide specialist support in a classroom setting and deliver engagine reading interventions. About the school

School hours are 08:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only.

To be considered for the role of Reading Support Assistant - Bristol you will:

  • Have a desire to work with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Have previous experience of delivering reading intervention and be enthusiastic about creating engaging sessions
  • Be a flexible individual, who is able to successfully manage challenging behaviour
  • Have caring and nurturing qualities
  • Be a motivated, dedicated and resilient person
  • A willingness to undertake the further training that will be offered

Salary

£29,000 to £34,000 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • to have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • previous experience delivering Reading Interventions
