We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school on the outskirts of Bristol that are looking for an SEN Learning Mentor to join the team for ideally as soon as possible. The school look after students with a wide range of special needs & disabilities (Complex Needs, SLD, ASD, MLD, PMLD, SEMH) from ages 4-16.

They are such a fantastic team that find their work incredibly rewarding. They will be looking for similarly like minded people who enjoy working as part of a team and who enjoy a fast paced environment.

The role

The school are able to move you around accordingly depending on your experience and specialism. The role of SEN Learning Mentor is varied; you will be expected to provide 1-1 support, general classroom support and support students outside of the classroom.

Due to the complex needs of many of the students-you will be expected to have experience in this area. This role is suitable for a range of different candidates, so whether you're experienced working in schools or someone who comes from more of a support work background - we'd love to hear from you!
