We work closely with a number of special schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas that are regularly requiring cover. The schools are a variety of different types of special schools that will look after students with a wide range of special needs & disabilities (SLD, MLD, ASD, PMLD, ADHD, SEMH & Complex Needs).

The role

The schools are looking for people who are able to lead pre-planned lessons wherever there is a gap in the school. Due to the needs of the students, it is important that you have worked with SEN in the past.

There is no planning or marking involved with this role, so is ideal for anyone looking for less responsibility from a full-time teaching position. You must be adaptable, used to fast paced environments, confident in classroom management and used to working with different ages.
