Are you a confident and experienced Speech and Language Therapist seeking a rewarding role with a variety of challenges? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

You will be working predominantly with a primary school caseload, with additional responsibilities in secondary schools. This includes supporting children and young people with a wide range of complex needs such as:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Social Communication Difficulties
  • Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
  • Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

The role will be based in a range of settings, including mainstream and SEMH primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently managing a diverse caseload.
  • Providing tailored therapy and intervention plans to support pupils’ communication and social development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Traveling between schools and settings as required (a valid driving license is essential).
What We’re Looking For
  • HCPC Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and young people with complex communication needs.
  • Confidence in working independently and managing a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and young people.
  • Access to a car for travel between work settings (essential).
