Due to an sustained period of growth our client our looking for a Cost Estimating and Forecasting Analyst to join them. This is an exciting opportunity as you will get the opportunity to lead the population of the UK Cost Engineering Database with normalised and cleaned NRC and RC data and work on some of the most advanced projects in the sector.
In addition My client are a world-leading, multi-national organisation that will challenge and develop your technical capabilities, and offer you the chance to work in a developing, cutting-edge environment in some of most advanced facilities in their areas of expertise.

This is an exciting opportunity as you will get the opportunity to not only increase your skills in Cost Estimating but give you the scope to improve your programme management skills and develop your Customer facing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for providing support to the Cost Engineering function, in the analysis of the business costs, categorisation, and recording within the Cost Engineering database
  • Work alongside the Cost Estimating managers, working on the Estimation and Analysis of all NRC costs
  • Support the establishment of the Cost Target brochure
  • Contribute in the definition of the offer cost base,
  • Support the implementation of Design for competitiveness approach in the bid preparation, and continue to support through all of the project life cycle.
  • Support the creation, calibration and use of cost models
To be suitable for the role you will have:
  • Experience working in a Cost Estimating/Engineering role in the Engineering/Manufacturing sectors
  • Ideally you will have experience in the use of engineering and management tools such as SAP, P6, DRM, MATRIX).
  • Understanding and experience of improving the Cost Estimating processes
  • Strong Experience with Microsoft Excel to manage varying volumes of cost data
