Procurement Manager

Remote (with occational travel to Bristol)

Up to £600 pd. Outside IR35

Our client, a leading financial services firm are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join their team on an interim basis to assist with a remediation programme of work to ensure their contracts are compliant with Operational Resiliance (Ops Res) as defined by the FCA.

The contract review phase has been completed and they are now seeking two people to re-negotiate the clauses and remediate the contracts (with the assistance of legal) to ensure they are compliant by March 2025.

Key Experiences for Consideration:

  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with experience in leading high value, complex negotiations with suppliers of various size
  • Experience remediating contracts and leading legal negotiations
  • Good working knowledge of contracts, with the ability to modify and negotiate the required changes in the spirit of the relationship and contract
  • Experience working in a technology business, knowledgeable of cloud, AI and automation technology, constraint, risks, and issues, able to identify and mitigate through strategy and commercial negotiation
  • Knowledge of regulatory landscape in a Financial Services environment
