This award winning company are market leading Plumbing/Heating suppliers who work with a variety of different maintenance firms and contractors nationwide. Due to the ongoing growth of the company they have a newly created role for a Purchasing Manager at their HQ in South Bristol.

In this role, you will be responsible managing all product categories, including leading brands and their own inhouse range. You'll also be getting involved in assisting HQ to grow margins, profits, prepare and execute stock plans, as well as managing a small purchasing team.

This is a fantastic chance to be the key player in all Purchasing activities, working for a successful and well-established business, who are in a phase of rapid expansion with training and progression incentives on offer.

THE ROLE:
*Manage all product categories
*Oversee a small team handling inbound multi-million-pound purchases
*Highly Autonomous and lots of opportunity to make your mark on the business

THE PERSON:
*Previous experience in a Buying or Purchasing role
*Managing/Team Leading experience
*Background in either: Plumbing/Heating, Wholesale, Merchant, Engineering/Industrial sectors
*Previous experience in developing commercial plans and managing stock
*Technically minded with a strong desire to learn and develop
