Job Summary:

The Driver Debrief Clerk ensures accurate reporting and analysis of driver performance at the end of each shift. This role involves collecting feedback from drivers, logging delivery issues, and ensuring vehicle and route concerns are addressed. The Clerk supports operational efficiency, safety, and compliance in the parcel delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver Debriefs: Meet with drivers post-shift to review performance, delivery challenges, and vehicle issues.
  • Data Recording: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, route deviations, and any operational issues.
  • Communication: Liaise with the operations team on delivery problems and fleet maintenance needs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure drivers follow company safety and regulatory standards.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide data on delivery efficiency and driver performance trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics or transportation, ideally in parcel delivery.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry and basic logistics software.
  • Ability to work independently, with attention to detail.
