Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced Technical & Environmental Sales professional to join their clients team in Bristol. This role will primarily focus on tendering for small scale construction projects, specifically in the area of subsoil removal and supply of aggregates. You will be responsible for planning and organising of the excavation, transportation, and removal of subsoil material from construction sites.

As the Technical & Environmental Sales representative, you will work closely with their construction partners and clients to identify opportunities for subsoil removal and supply of aggregates. You will utilise your technical knowledge and expertise to develop innovative solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally sustainable. This will involve adhering to the CL:AIRE Waste Code of Practise and the Series 600 Earthworks Specification, as well as following the WRAP Protocol for waste management.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the construction industry and the ability to identify potential clients. You should also have experience in tendering for construction projects and a track record of successfully securing contract bids. In addition, knowledge of RPS247, Weighsoft, and Asbestos Awareness.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and construction partners. Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.

As our Technical & Environmental Sales representative, you will be responsible for:

? Tendering for small scale construction projects in the area of subsoil removal and supply of aggregates? Produce plans to support onsite groundworks. Conveying information confidently.? Using statistical analysis to determine contamination? Classifying waste based on WM3 criteria and generating Hazwaste Online reports to be included in technical classifications along with Asbestos in soils.? Understanding of verification reports to comply with conditions set out within local authority.? Production of material management plans (MMPs) using CL:AIRE DoW CoP involving researching of prospective donor and receiver sites to check compliance under the terms of CL:AIRE DoW CoP. This requires the understanding of local authority planning portals, ground investigation reports, cut/ fill models and supporting information.? Analytical review of site investigation reports from the perspective of Subsoil material classification using both WM3 and CL:AIRE legislation. This involves the technical review of ground investigation reports to identify commercial and compliance important information.
