Salary:  £45K - £55K + competitive commission

Excellent opportunity to join a growing technology & manufacturing scale-up business in the Oil & Gas & Engineering sector. They are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join their Client Services & Sales team and take responsibility for supporting key clients in the GCC region. This is a hands-on, dynamic role, based in Bristol, UK but with extensive opportunities to travel.

The role includes:

  • Managing & developing key accounts
  • Identifying and targeting strategic business opportunities
  • Providing technical support to customers and partners
  • Supporting installation of sensors at customer sites
  • Providing product and installation training
  • Preparing technical reports and case studies
  • Identifying new opportunities
  • Attending trade shows
  • Travelling to customers internationally

Key experience required:

  • Degree in Engineering/Physics/Materials Science
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry is essential
  • An understanding of ultrasonic non-destructive testing
  • Experience in a sales/customer facing role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
  • Experience of producing technical reports
  • Knowledge of doing business in the GCC region is beneficial
