Sonic Summary

The job is for a Test Engineer position located in Bristol with a salary range of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
The company specializes in designing and manufacturing RF electronic solutions for aerospace and commercial applications.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RF Test Engineering and a relevant HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering.
Key responsibilities include operating RF analysis equipment, fault finding analog and RF circuits, and collaborating with the engineering team.
Additional skills in ISO9001 manufacturing disciplines are a plus but not essential.

Test Engineer – Bristol £35,000 - £40,000 paI’m working with an Electronics Manufacturer company which specialises in Designing and manufacturing RF electronic solutions, typically used for Aerospace and Commercial applications. They are looking for an experienced RF Test Engineer ideally with at least 3-5 years’ experience to join their team.Responsibilities:

Operate RF analysis equipment including scalar, vector, spectrum & power analysers.
Align amplifier parameters by adjustment of microstrip tuning elements.
Fault find analog & RF circuits to component level.
Interface with the Engineering team in product design environment.

Key Skills/Experience:

HNC (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering
RF/Microwave Test and Tuning
Experience working in a product-based electronics manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of Electronic components
Conversant with Electrical circuit diagrams

Nice to have’s/non-essentials:

Understanding of the principles of working within ISO9001 manufacturing disciplines
