The job is for an RF & Microwave Design Engineer based in Bristol, offering a salary range of £50,000 to £80,000 per annum.
The position requires candidates to have at least 3-5 years of experience in RF design engineering.
Responsibilities include designing RF and Microwave frequency solid-state power amplifiers and working with production and engineering teams.
Key qualifications include a B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronic Engineering, experience with RF circuits, and proficiency in CAD design tools.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with AWR Microwave office and SolidWorks, as well as knowledge of ISO9001 manufacturing principles.

RF & Microwave Design Engineer – Bristol - £50,000 - £80,000 paI’m working with an Electronics Manufacturer company which specialises in Designing and manufacturing RF electronic solutions, typically used for Aerospace and Commercial applications. They are looking for an experienced RF Design Engineer ideally with at least 3-5 years’ experience to join their team.Responsibilities:

Candidates will be required to design RF & Microwave frequency (UHF to 15GHz range) solid-state power amplifiers including RF circuits and associated DC power supplies
Able to work with production, engineering, and management team
Able to operate RF test equipment including Network/spectrum analysers

Key Skills/Experience:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronic Engineering including RF communications
RF/Microwave Design Experience
RF Power Amplifiers/RF Circuits
CAD Design tools
Clear written & verbal communication skill
Good time management & organisational skills

Nice to have’s/non-essentials:

AWR Microwave office
Experience in SolidWorks 3D
Understanding of Power Electronics
Understanding of the principles of working within ISO9001 manufacturing disciplines
HND/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline
