Our client, a reputable organisation in need of temporary support, is seeking a talented Receptionist to join their team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, so a welcoming and friendly demeanour is essential. As a Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to create a positive impression and ensure that all visitors have a smooth and pleasant experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory, placing orders when needed
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour
