An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Project Manager to join a substantial and growing operator in the UK hospitality sector. This company operates over 250 sites across various distinct brands and has consistently outperformed the wider hospitality sector over the past three years. With a commitment to maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit and a community-focused atmosphere, this company is looking for a talented individual to support the Head of Development in managing new site development processes.

The Development Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that all sites are completed to brand and legislative standards, on time, and within budget. With an ambitious pipeline ahead and new sites opening approximately every 10 days, the Development Project Manager will manage over 50 projects simultaneously, making this a dynamic and fast-paced role.


**Responsibilities Included**

  • Evaluate site viability and collaborate with the Acquisition and Design teams to create sketch schemes and budget cost plans.
  • Ensure efficient site designs and specifications within lease agreements, negotiating landlord obligations to secure the best value.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and designs, ensuring Executive Board approvals are secured.
  • Deliver projects that meet operational, design, and brand standards while securing relevant stakeholder approvals.
  • Continuously improve processes and procurement, driving efficiencies and cost savings throughout the development cycle.


**Skills and Attributes**

  • Proven experience in programme delivery within a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality, leisure, or retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements for construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency (AutoCAD skills are a plus).
  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on innovation and problem-solving.
