Wisteria Talent is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join a well-established and reputable bodyshop in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a IMI Level 3 acccrediation in Paint repair and a minimum of one year of experience as a Paint Technician. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality paintwork on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming.

  • Mixing and matching paint colours to ensure an exact match.

  • Applying paint using spray guns and other specialized equipment.

  • Ensuring smooth and even coatings, free of defects.

  • Carrying out final polishing and finishing work.

  • Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets industry and company standards.

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

  • Working collaboratively with the bodyshop team to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • IMI Level 3 Diploma automotive paint repair

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paint Technician.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the automotive industry.
